Nematodes in space

In February, it was announced that small round worms (nematodes) would be sent into space to see how they reacted to the low gravity environment of the International Space Station. This is a project with NASA, the USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and SymSoil’s nematode advisors, Pheronym.

Read the Starship Nematode! story here.

We hope they do better than the last space bound group of worms. Read the story of the two headed flatworm here.
